The Period of the Mahdi's Rule in the Bible
The supremacy of religious moral values—Allah’s promise in the Qur’an—also appears in the Bible as well as the Old Testament. This promise, set out in the scriptures of all the Abrahamic faiths, refers to a community descended from the line of Prophet Abraham (pbuh), with an unconditional faith in Allah, living solely for His approval and striving to spread the moral values of the faith across the world. The Mahdi, who is due to appear in the End Times, and his community are the believers who, by Allah’s leave, will be the means whereby this promise comes about.
This promise of Allah’s appears as follows in the Bible:
... you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, “Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.” (Acts 3:25)
It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. (Romans 4:13)
The following are some passages from the Bible that refer to the period of sovereignty following the appearance of the Mahdi:
1. Dominion is close at hand when the portents take place.
He [Jesus] told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.” (Luke 21:29-31)
He [Jesus] said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does. And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is ... You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don't know how to interpret this present time?” (Luke 12:54-56)
2. Belief in Allah rules the entire world.
... the city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light. (Revelation 21:23)
... but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:13-14)

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations ... (Matthew 24:14)
